2. How We Use Information

We use information processed by the app to:

• scan and extract text from receipt images,
• help you organize and review your receipts,
• store your receipt records locally on your device,
• export reports or files when you request them,
• improve app stability, performance, and user experience,
• support monetization through advertising and optional in-app purchases.

3. Local Storage and Data Handling

ReceiptVault is designed to work primarily with data stored on your device. Receipt records, imported images, and generated exports are generally handled locally unless you choose to share or export them yourself.

We do not claim to run a user account system for this app, and we do not operate a dedicated cloud backend that stores your personal receipt library on our own servers as a normal part of app usage.

4. Third-Party Services We Use

ReceiptVault may use the following third-party services:

• Firebase Analytics for aggregated app usage analytics.

• We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal data beyond what you choose to place into receipts, notes, imports, or exports yourself.

6. Advertising

The app may show ads using Google AdMob. AdMob and its partners may use device identifiers, cookies, or similar technologies, depending on platform behavior and applicable policies, to deliver, measure, and improve ads.

We do not directly control all data practices of third-party advertising providers.

7. Analytics and Crash Reporting

If enabled in the app build, Firebase Analytics may collect app usage events, and Firebase Crashlytics may collect crash logs, device state information, and technical diagnostics to help us fix bugs and improve reliability.

8. Permissions

The app may request permissions such as:

• Camera, to scan receipts.
• Photos, media, or files access, to import receipt images or save exported documents.
